If you’re driving down to Goa, 4 hours into your journey, you’d be at Lature. Make sure you stop at Hotel Sai International for a light breakfast {within Rs. 1000 for two} and a loo break. The facilities are clean, with a food court {open from 6am until midnight}, family-style AC restaurant {open from 11am – 3:30pm}, ample parking, and even a petrol pump adjacent to the property. There aren’t many options to stop at nearby, so make the most of it. The Misal Pav is to die for. It is a self-service type hotel that serves South Indian dishes {dosa, idli, medu wada}, Maharashtrian favourites {batata wada, masale bhat} and some other dishes like chana bhatura, sandwiches, puri Korma etc. You can also get some steaming hot tea and coffee or even some chass to cool you down.
