What's Happening

The Iron Target Challenge - India’s first public archery competition is set to draw its first arrow in Pune. The tournament is the brainchild of Sanand Mitra, an international archer, national record holder, national gold medalist and mentor for archery across various organisations in India. The event is being organized to encourage Punekars to try their hand at archery and also help increase the popularity of the sport in the country.

The Iron Target Challenge would commence in Pune with zonal level tournaments being held for 6 zones of the city viz, PCMC, Kalyani Nagar, Undri, Deccan, Sinhagad Road and Baner. It would be a knockout type tournament, where anyone above the age of 11 can participate, and the top 5 winners from every zone would compete against each other in the Grand Finale at Phoenix Market City on the 27th of January, 2019. Winner of this tournament would stand a chance to win a car with other exciting prizes in store for the finalists.

Zonal Tournament 1: PCMC Ground, Pimple Saudagar

 Zonal Tournament 2: Archers Academy Centre of Excellence, Shahu College Campus

Zonal Tournament 3: Liberty Square, Phoenix Market City

Price Includes

INR 500 per person for registration.

Anyone above the age of 11 can participate

Knockout type tournament

Each participant would be given a practice of 10 arrows to ensure fair play
