Nestled on a small hillock that also has a small lake at it’s foothill, J.V. Cottage is a perfect place for couples, families and even groups of friends to chill, relax and unwind amongst nature. The cottage seems to be inspired from Swiss chalets and is made from wood. Each room has a veranda to it. Because the cottages are on a height, the verandas seem more like a balcony. The rooms are spacious and yet have a cosy feel to it. We blame it all on the wooden interiors. Each room has a bed that is comfortable. There is also an attached bathroom to it which is also very hygienic. The landscaping of the property seems to be relatively new and hence, you will find saplings of mango and chikoo trees all over the property.
The property has a small informal activity area. Here, all of you who love painting can set up your canvas and take inspiration from the view. The place also has two super cute and friendly dogs named Jimmy and Coco. Both of them are known to be energetic and absolutely harmless. They also have chickens and roosters roaming freely on the property. Apart from them, you also see a number of birds throughout the day over here.
The place offers breakfast, lunch, high-tea and dinner to its guests. If there is something specific that you want made then they might add extra charges. They would also help you in organising your own barbeque party over here. Their restaurant is known for delicious and heavy breakfast spreads. They can cook American, Indian and Chinese cuisines. You can either opt for their buffet or go for a la carte.
The prices over here, like other places, keep on varying according to the season. The prices at the time of writing this article were at INR 5,500 + additional taxes for two guests. And, if you call them up, you can manage to get a discount on that price as well.
