    Ganesh Festival Walk

    Make the most of the festive season with The Western Routes. Learn about the history behind the ‘Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav’, which is a ‘collective communal celebration of the festival of Lord Ganesha’. Visit the ‘Manache Paach’ (Honoured or Respected Five) Ganpati idols; each decorated lavishly with their own themes, sparkling lights and energetic music. We think it’s an interesting way to be part of one of Pune’s biggest and most significant cultural celebrations. You’ll also get to stuff your face with fresh ukdiche modak and other treats, which we think is reason enough to go. This is a ticketed event {INR 600/head} so we suggest signing up now if you’re interested.

    Poetry Performance At High Spirits

    Take your poetry to the next level with Bullock Cart Poetry’s event at High Spirits, this Sunday. Tying together performance arts and poetry, this isn’t your regular open-mic scene, it’s the real deal. Once you sign up and send in your piece (in advance), you’ll be assigned a mentor, who will help you edit and put together a full-fledged performance of it.
