Be By The Beach

Bougainvillea is a cute beach house in Nagaon, near Alibaug. It has a swimming pool, wooden swings, a large courtyard and comfortable rooms. It costs only INR 2,500 per night for a room for two people during monsoon. On Saturdays, however the cost is higher {INR 5,000} and would be INR 2,500 per person for a room.

In the sleepy, hilly town of Panchgani is a lovely homestay run by a couple, where one can go, stay and completely calm down while the monsoons take over. Here, they have a room on rent with a beautiful writing table, a small attached pantry, a small book case and a path leading to the outside where they have hammocks hung under the trees. Plus, the stay is located in Devrai, where the Devrai Art Village is, so you can go there in the day.
