What Did I Like?

Located one-and-a-half hour from Pune, Paradise Cafe in Mulshi is a hidden gem worth exploring! Contoured around the Mulshi Lake, this 14-acres of property stands against the picturesque backdrop of the lush green forest and majestic hill ranges.

Paradise Cafe is a restaurant-cum-hotel. While you can go there for a day and enjoy the sunset, the food and other activities, you can also opt to stay overnight. Their rooms are well-maintained and are bifurcated into executive cottages, basic rooms with attached washrooms, tents and dormitories.

The place is perfect for nature trails, campfire, barbecue nights and trekking, especially during winters when the weather is pleasant. What's more? Paradise is nothing but romantic - Take a walk with the beloved by the valley of waterfalls or just watch the sunset at a distance! We think it's a perfect setting to pop the question.

Food-wise too, the place is not bad at all! We loved the double egg omelette with bun maskas and masala chai. For lunch and dinner, must-try the sarson ka saag with makki ki roti, the butter chicken, dal fry and the chicken tandoori.

Price: INR 750 {one-day package; includes breakfast, tea and evening snacks}

What's My Pro Tip?

Paradise Cafe is about 60km from Pune. We recommend you take the route through Chandni Chowk - Pirangut - Paud to Mulshi Dam.

Anything Else?

Keeping the best news at the end...Paradise Cafe has a private lagoon, secluded, untapped and oh-so-beautiful. We hear you can go skinny dipping out here. How cool is that? And in case you aren't comfortable with the idea of skinny dipping, you can buy some affordable swimwear from the shop right next to the cafe.
