When it comes to food, we mostly seek joints that serve authentic food. Being a student dominated area, Viman Nagar has a lot of options for budget dining. From street food to bars, cafes and restaurants, you’ll find it all. Punjabi Chulha is a small food truck that stands near Clover Park in Viman Nagar and serves up some of the best kebabs and other North Indian delicacies. Started almost over 6 years ago, this food truck has been a favourite among the crowd, so much so that they run out of everything by 11:00 p.m.
The menu is limited to few classic North Indian dishes starting at INR 150. They have a tandoor set up in the food truck and that helps them serve the best kebabs. You must try their specialty that’s called chandni kebab at INR 250. These kebabs contain meat covered in a thin momo dough and then marinated with tandoori spices and cooked till perfection. They simply melt in your mouth and will make you come back for more! Their other dishes such as dal makhni, butter chicken and tandoori aloo are also crowd favourites.
A meal for two here will set you back INR 500 or so.
