What Makes It Awesome

Plumage by Ritu and Vivek is a gorgeous store on Koregaon Park, nestled in the leafy lanes of Pingale Chowk near Power Plaza. The store is the epitome of what the concept of slow and eco-friendly fashion represents.

All the products at Plumage, whether home decor or clothing, are handcrafted, artisanal, natural and sustainable. But most importantly, this homegrown brand celebrates and champions the traditional artforms across India. In fact, we hear their maiden collection portrays a beautiful tale from Odisha, Nepal and Andhra Pradesh.

What we loved? Practically everything. However our eyes went straight for the elegant range of handspun cotton tops and comfortable lounge pants. Their Bohemian-inspired kurtas for men are something that are hot-selling this season and definitely a must for the wardrobe. Additionally, check out their spectacular collective of Tibetan weaves, kalamkari and ikat dresses, tribal scarves and stoles and ethnic jackets.

What's even more impressive than their apparel range is their line of home accessories. From lacquer-finish terracotta cutlery to beautifully hand-stitched pillow and cushion covers, they have it all. For stationery lovers, we hear they also have upcycled diaries and newspaper pencils by Araatrika in their store. Check them out soon!
