What Makes It Awesome
Our idea of a chill scene is good music, yummy food, live matches, beer pints and a couple of friends. Soccer’s Arena in Baner, open for two months now, boasts of all these things and much more. The bar is armed with a menu serving global-cuisine and fusion food and also has a variety of beverages.For starters, we tried the pav-bhaji crostini, gunpowder chicken popcorns and Kolhapuri chicken wings which are delicious and come highly recommended. We also recommend you to try their shengdana (peanut) chutney crusted fish and murgh matka biryani. For drinks, their white rum mojito and watermelon punch are absolutely smashing. With plenty of unconventional desserts available, please your taste-buds with this amazing preparation ‘caramel khari with masala chai ice-cream’.The bar has four different sections including a separate space for family dining, a section with football printed table-tops and live sports screening and an AC lounge with dim lighting, colourful sofas and graffiti on the walls. But what caught our eye is the small football setup with synthetic grass, flags of various countries and high raise chairs which make for a stadium-like feel.
