Hidden Gem: Take A Sneak-Peak Into The Boutique Gully Of Pune

Did you know the Bibwewadi-Kondhwa road stretch is filled with beautiful and unique boutiques? Known as the boutique gully of Pune, it consists of some of the city's hidden gems. We stumbled upon five unique fashion stores that will not only up your couture game but also be easy on your pockets. Take a look:

Want the perfect bridal gown that will make you stand out of crowd? Starting at just INR 5000, you can get a basic lehenga stitched at this boutique. What we love about the place is that you can get different types of hand-works such as Gota work, patch-work, embroidery-work done on your outfits. starting at INR 2500, we found some amazing blouses with intricate work done on them. Got an old saree that needs to be recycled into a lehenga or any kurti? Worry not, this place also does the good deed and give your old clothes a complete makeover.

With around 1500 varieties of kurtis starting at INR 700, Corsage is yet another hidden gem that caters to the fashion needs of women across the city. Known for its ready-made kurti, suits and saree collection, this tiny shop keeps sizes from S to 5XL. We loved the hand-spun cotton sarees (INR 1200) that were specially imported from Assam. Check-out their vast dupatta collection which consists of tie & dye, Banarasi as well as fancy net dupattas that will go with any ethnic dress of yours.

This colourful store sells exclusive Gujrati-couture as well as accessories. With the festive season just around the corner, they have a beautiful collection of garba lehengas for women and kediyu & Kafni pajama for men. We loved the ornate box trunks which started at INR 30 and went up to INR 1500, along with the pouches and mirror-mats that sported the kutch prints/ works. We recommend you check-out their unisex shorts with Kutch mirror-work to add a dash of quirkiness to your traditional wardrobe.
