Brewfest 2.0 at The Pavillion
Pune’s own rooftop craft beer festival is back in its second edition, with the added bonus of watching the IPL live on the big screen. Expect chilled craft beer, delicious food to pair with it, plenty of shopping options, and live music to groove to – with the added bonus of panoramic views of the city. The festival will feature six breweries, namely: Effingut, TJ’s Brew Works, Kimaya Brewing Company, Moonshine Meadery, Drifters Brewing Company, and The White Owl; and over 25 types of beer for you to guzzle. Canvas Against Cancer at Malaka Spice
Artist Kartikey Sharma is showcasing his paintings (which are also for sale) at Malaka Spice, Koregaon Park – until the end of this month. He has captured his journey battling cancer through these artworks – inspired by ‘cells’ – and all proceeds from the sale of these paintings will go towards paying for his treatment. Mandala Workshop at Independence Brewing Company
Explore your artsy side with a creative ‘Watercolour Mandala Workshop’ by artist Vinita Varier – aka ‘That Crazy Doodler’ – on Saturday. Tickets will cost you INR 1600 and include a complimentary pint of beer (or a mocktail) and you can register by contacting 020-66448308.

City Bakery: A Film Screening at Gyaan Adab Centre
‘City Bakery’ is a food-inspired film by city-based director, Alka Sadalkar. It tells the story of a protagonist’s “quest for the struggle for struggle for the choices one has to make, at one’s pivotal age, how one’s personal journey and decisions about one’s future are challenging and predictions towards an outcome are often unknown”. Tickets in the form of a ‘donation pass’ will cost you INR 50, and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Brew Tribe at Phoenix Market City
The Brew Tribe is a two-day weekend festival hosted at Phoenix Market City, showcasing stand-up comedy (Vipul Goyal and Vaibhav Sethia), storytellers (Helly Shah, Amandeep Singh, and Navaldeep Singh), lip-smacking food and drinks, along with a live-screening of the IPL Final (accompanied by live dhol players and a DJ for a real stadium-like experience). Beer Stadium - Craft Beer + 2 Kickass Finals at Classic Rock Coffee Co.
Catch two of the sports season’s biggest finals – the Champions League Final 2018 on Saturday, and the IPL Final 2018 on Sunday – on ‘one of the largest screens in Pune’ under a starry night sky. This ‘Beer Stadium’ promises 20 types of beer from six breweries, yummy food, live music, and stand-up comedy acts to keep you entertained until the match begins. Entry is FREE, and so we recommend getting there early with your squad, to secure your seats.

Act to Prevent: Workplace Sexual Harassment Awareness
It’s important to know your rights in the workplace, especially with regards to sexual harassment. To spread awareness about this very serious issue, Place of Workship is hosting this workshop in collaboration with GenderSense and Sutradhar. There will be an ‘interactive session involving planned talks, Q&A and acts’, along with a performance art piece on ‘various aspects of the theme’, and an open discussion.
