Milkshake Incredible Milk
As a woman with long, dry and frizzy hair, I’m perpetually on the lookout for good leave-in conditioners and hair serums. This leave-in spray mask was recommended by my hairstylist, and while I’m always sceptical of buying items from salons, this one didn't hurt because you get 150ml worth of product for INR 1,600, which will last you for a good time.
This one product claims to have 12 actions: protects hair from UV rays, repairs all hair types, maintains colour, protects from heat, detangles, maintains hairstyle, adds maximum shine, creates body and volume, controls frizz, banishes and prevents split ends, allows easy straightening and smoothes the cuticle. Yes, that’s a lot, but it does deliver on most. It detangles my hair in no time and definitely makes it much easier to manage. Plus, it’s also quite lightweight, so it doesn't weigh my hair down.

Finding a good and stable vitamin C serum is a struggle, but thank god for Korean skincare geniuses, aka Innisfree. Their formulations are easily one of the best on the market right now. It features a stable form of vitamin C (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid), which is safe to apply every day, along with the goodness of niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and squalane. All of this helps you get rid of stubborn dark spots and improve skin texture.

Bioderma Brightening Exfoliating Cleanser
My dermatologist prescribed this cleanser not so long ago for my extremely oily, acne-prone skin. And I am happy to report that it actually helped! The formula has AHAs (citric acid) and tiny micro-beads that gently exfoliate and remove impurities, perfect for oily skin like mine. The creamy foam texture feels gentle and does a fantastic job of removing sebum, sweat, and sunscreen after a long day at work.

The M.A.C Lip Pencil in the shade 'Spice' is my holy grail and go-to lip product when I don't want to spend more than a minute perfecting the brown-toned, 90's supermodel-like lip shade. Unfortunately, mine has been used far too much and requires a replacement immediately.
- Siya Chopra, Lifestyle WriterThe Face Shop Rice & Ceramide Moisturizing Emulsion
I'll definitely be re-purchasing this moisturising emulsion from The Face Shop. Apart from being a good moisturiser that keeps skin hydrated and supple (thanks to ingredients like ceramides and rice water), it is also super lightweight and easy to wear in this humid monsoon weather. Plus, it doesn't irritate my acne-prone skin.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion
As someone who is always on the hunt for a good body lotion, I am so glad that I started using this Aveeno Daily Moisturising lotion. Even though it was so humid, my skin was patchy and parched, and this was the only lotion that came to my rescue. Formulated with active natural colloidal oatmeal and rich emollients, it prevents dry skin for up to 24 hours, and you don't feel greasy and oily on your skin, which I love.

Etude House Fixing Tint Lipstick
Now an indispensable part of my everyday bag, Etude House's tint has always worked greatly for me. Their Fixing Tint range is perfect for everyday, on-the-go applications, adding a beautiful flush of colour to your face. You can also use them as cheek tints, and I will definitely be stocking up on more of their shades.
Victoria's Secret Bare Fine Fragrance Mist
I’d be lying if I said that I have not been re-purchasing this since last year. However, it does count as my monthly empty solely because I just got it! When it comes to Victoria’s Secret mists, you can’t go wrong since they are indulgent and recognisable, and you get the entire range of one fragrance too. I particularly love Bare, which comes in an EDP, EDT, and a mist version.
The fragrance itself is a woody floral perfect for everyday wear regardless of the season. It has notes of Australian Sandalwood, Mandarin Madagascar, and Egyptian Violet. The mist lasts around 2-3 hours on a hot, humid day, is not overbearing, and morphs with your skin’s pH level to create a unique fragrance tailored to you.
Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Water
While I’m aware that this is the era of oil gritting and oil-based removers, I can’t help but reach for a good ‘ol bottle of micellar water for my everyday double cleanse. I also do this since my skin cannot take oil-based cleansing during the monsoons but I still have to remove my mascara every day without fail! I’m loving the one I got from Simple this month. It’s easy to use, affordable and gets the job done. You might have to use a tad extra for products that are waterproof, but you are left with skin that is clean, smooth, and hydrated. It also has no colour and is free from fragrance and chemicals.
