Wellness Is Key
Call it an after effect of Instagram spotlighting the rich mommy lifestyle to us or Gen Z finally realising that your body, mind and soul are the holy trinity worth every investment. How this will transcend into your beauty choices is that face yoga, hair spas, regular visit to the dermatologist for a nice dermafacial— shall all become a thing of common with folks considering these better investments over spending huge bucks on skincare and make up products.
Skincare Infused Formulas
This might not come as a surprise since it feels very in line with the wellness corner our beauty routine might take. While skincare infused makeup has been in the picture for quite some time with brands adding active ingredients to formulations, this is only getting bigger and better in 2025 with formula innovation being the top priority. For example, look at Haus Labs' recent launch, B Structural Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara that not only does an insane job at coating your lashes and giving it the perfect volume and length but also has rice water and vegan B-silk, a proprietary haircare ingredient for protecting the lashes.

In the case of beauty trends, when there are too many fish in the sea, the only ones winning the game are who are bringing something new to the table. Lip balms, masks, oils and treatments have really boomed in the past year and a half and we can only see this getting bigger and better in 2025 with beauty brands tapping into even newer formulations and colours to keep us hoarding 'em like pokemons. A few OGs that shall still remain relevant will be the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm, Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask and Gisou Lip Oil along with the Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment.
Subtle Looking Injectables
2025 is the year where you will see undetectable botox and fillers taking charge. Lip fillers will still be hot but in a slightly more natural-looking capacity, not the duck lips we usually associate them with. The memo with all injectables and cosmetic surgeries will be to look as natural and 'untouched' as possible (read: inserts current picture of Lindsay Lohan).
Colours Over Nudes
Nope, we don't mean to say that you will bid goodbye to nudes for your makeup but 2025 will be more of an interplay of colours combined with nudes to give you that fun yet polished look so be prepared to see perfect skin and fun eye makeup looks make a comeback over your no-makeup makeup or smokey eye looks. Also, we are already seeing a shift towards flushed and slightly tinted lips over nudes.
