Betalbatim Beach is a kilometer long beach that's located between Colva Beach and Majorda Beach in Salcette, South Goa. Consider it one of the low-key beaches with golden white sand, cashew plantations and clear waters glistening under the sun as far as the eye can see. Unexplored, untouched and pristine, it's one of the few beaches in South Goa that's comparatively less frequented by beachgoers and is perfect for spending the day in peace along the seashore.

Another fun fact about this beach is that one end of it is called the lovers' beach with couples flocking around to enjoy the beach's tranquility, while the other is called the sunset beach where tourists can watch the sun setting gloriously over the sea. So, here's a guide to help you plan your visit to the beach for the next time you are craving some moments of serenity and quaint.

Best Time to Visit

November to February, the breeze is pleasant and sometimes chilly. Perfect for participating in water sports. The best time to catch a glimpse of the glowing plankton responsible for the phenomenon of biolumniscence.

How To Reach Betalbatim Beach?

Betalbatim Beach is approximately twenty-three kilometers from the Goa International Airport (GOI) in Dabolim and can be easily reached by car in case you are planning to rent one or simply hire a cab. The cab can cost you anywhere between INR 1,000 to INR 1,700.

From Panjim, the beach is around thirty-two kilometers far so again, road travel is your only option. We would suggest going to Betalbatim Beach on your way to the more famous beaches like Colva and Majorda so you can plan your trip more efficiently.
