A Peek Inside Monika's Vibrant Home With A Vintage Touch

The time we stepped inside the abode of Monika, a home decor enthusiast and the founder of Sparkle Couch, we immediately felt the warmth in the air and the overall welcoming aura all around us. The living room has a custom-made, L-shaped sofa full of fluffed, printed pillows. She loves the pop of colours here and there which is evidently displayed with all the smartly-placed vibrant pieces in her home. The place is decorated with wooden masks, old doors, Raja Ravi Varma paintings, and vintage pieces like a super-old telephone for a charmingly rustic touch. 

Wherever she goes, she tends to collect weighing scales and get them repainted as per the aesthetic of her home, giving all the more character to it. To make her dining space feel more like a quaint cafe, she has elevated it with warm hanging lights, a vintage round table, and lit candles. Her daughter's room is filled with vintage mirrors making the room look even more enhanced. From upholstery to walls, everything is in white with slight pastel pinks. On the other hand, the store room has been intentionally and lovingly made to look village-like with the help of brass utensils and other vintage items. 

Coming to the master bedroom, the intricately printed and embroidered cushion covers and curtains, and the paintings lend a lot of vibrance to the space. There is a very old table stand where she hangs handicraft pieces to keep the room lively. All and all, Monika's place is where you will feel like you are back in the beautiful old times when people used to sit, have a cup of chai, and talk about life in general.
