Saptami Day
Saptami or Maha Saptami is the seventh day of the 10-day-long Durga Puja. This is when the festive spirit is embraced in its full glory. People usually prefer wearing something in yellow that is lightweight in which they can easily move and stay comfortable. We recommend wearing this saree from Charukriti, a gold necklace and bangles matched with comfortable footwear, and a fancy potli to tie in the look.

Ashtami Day
Ashtami Night
Ashtami night is the time to go all out (we know we do). On Ashtami night, the pandals are open super late, they have the best performances lined up, and it is the day for dhunuchi! For Ashtami, we recommend a heavy silk saree in a warm royal colour. This pink crushed organza saree by Tikhi Imli will surely steal the show. Pair it with gold danglers, a statement ring, and a pair of heels, and you're set! You can also wear the silk version of the Lal-Par saree if you want the full traditional look and are only stepping out at night.
Navami Day
In North India, on either Ashtami or Navami, most households have ‘Kanya Pooja’, where kids—representing Goddess Durga are invited for a meal, treats, and gifts. For that, during the day, something comfortable yet chic is recommended, as after that, people perform pooja and finally break their nine-day-long fast. This printed round-neck kurta set from Label Ritu Kumar is the perfect blend of functionality and style, plus it's made out of pure cotton (extremely breathable). It's a great fit to run around in. You can bring together the entire look with a pair of jhumkis and block heels.

Vijaydashami
Vijaydashami is the tenth day, where one tends to gravitate towards ethnic wear mostly. You’ll mostly spot a bunch of heavy suits, bangle sets, and traditional jewellery. We suggest keeping it low-key with this stunning suit by Seher Jaipur. The suit comes in about seven colours, all in the same silhouette but with different embroidery, which means you have tons of options and can buy more than one! Pair this with traditional-looking heels or juttis, along with some jhumkas, and you’ll be good to go.
