12 Alternatives To Glossier's Clean Beauty Products That Are Available In India

Of course, we had to start with the product that's the talk of the town. This one is loved because of the nourishing ingredients that are super healing. It has a thick and rich formula that works miracles if you have dry and chapped lips. You'll feel it all day long on your lips giving them that glossy effect without too much of a tint, which means you can easily layer it too. But that is not the only benefit, users claim to love using it on their cuticles, their cheeks and practically anywhere that needs a little bit of nourishment and hydration. 

Dr Paw Paw's original lip balm in the yellow packaging is what comes the closest to Balm Dotcom, with its multi-purpose usage, a clear formula that can be layered, and nourishing ingredients like emollients. Although the original one does not have any flavours or tints, there are other products with tints such as peach pink and shimmer. 

The cult favourite boy brow is a creamy and conditioning eyebrow gel that comes with a precision brush to give them a natural flick look. It is tested by dermatologists and ophthalmologists to be safe for all skin types as well as people who wear contact lenses. The gel contains beeswax and carnauba wax that holds the eyebrow hair in place without making them too stiff, it also has hyaluronic acid and oleic acid to nourish the eyebrows and skin and lecithin that adds a smooth texture with a subtle shine to it. 

One dupe that we found was the e.l.f Wow Brow which has a similar applicator. It also matches the ingredients with a wax and gel combo but doesn’t have the hydrating properties. Although it is equally long-lasting and more affordable than the glossier one. It has 4 shades compared to the 7 of Glossier, but we're sure you'll find one for you here. 

We also found a Brow pen that is similar in texture and nourishing ingredients to the Boy Brow but could be better compared to the Boy Flick. The flick is a micro-filling pen that fills in the brows with a texture that looks like real hair. It contains natural butter and vitamins that nourish and moisturise the brow hair, with keratin in it that adds protein and makes it stronger. This has only 1 shade that's brown, which is why we'd recommend the wow brow as the ideal dupe. 

The cloud paint is the viral blush from the brand that looks like a paint tube in very cute packaging. The creamy texture that is highly pigmented is why beauty enthusiasts love it. They have 10 blush and 5 bronzer shade variants that give a natural finish with a dewy glow on the skin. It contains collagen which is super hydrating, a blurring powder that covers the pores, and a gel-like texture that makes it easy to apply. 

The product that we feel comes the closest to this is the Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush, as it has a similar natural and dewy finish, and is hydrating on the skin with fruit extracts. It also has a blurring powder that makes it easy and seamless to blend in with the skin. Although it only has 5 shade variants, of which only 2 are currently available on Nykaa. It also doesn't have the paint tube applicator and comes in a palette instead. 

Another product that comes really close is the Flower Beauty Blush Bomb, which has 7 colour variants and a similar tube applicator that makes It super easy to apply and blend. Even though it does provide a similar natural and dewy glow, the nourishing ingredients are lesser than both Glossier and Milani's blush. But it is much more affordable compared to both of them, which is why we'd recommend going ahead with this one if you can forego the lack of nutrients in it. 

Glossier's Skin Tint offers a flawless yet natural look with a texture that mimics the feel of your own skin. It contains Diamond Powder, which blurs the pores and adds a little glow to the skin, along with glycerin that keeps the skin hydrated by retaining moisture. The sheer and lightweight formula gives an even skintone without covering up your freckles or caking the pores giving a smooth, dewy finish, with a natural shine.  It is available in 12 shades and is vegan, cruelty-free, dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested, fragrance-free, and non-comedogenic.

The Pixi H2O skin tint comes close to this in texture as it is also lightweight and hydrating on the skin. It evens out your complexion giving a no-makeup, make-up look. It has natural ingredients and is also paraben-free, fragrance-free, cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types. It has more shade variants (14) compared to the Glossier one and is also more affordable. 

The brand has a perfume that naturally enhances your skin scent, which is why it smells differently on everyone. It features notes of sparkling pink pepper, an earthy iris, with a warm, slightly sweet base, of ambrette seeds. Since it has a unique smell on every skin it was difficult to find an alternative that works for everyone, but we did manage to find 2 that come close, at least with their notes. 

The Sonic Flower perfume from 1015 has top notes of pink pepper and carrot seeds, Heart Notes of Orris and Jasmine Petals and Base Notes of Ambroxan, Cashmere Woods and Skin Musks. It is noted by the internet to be slightly muskier than the powdery scent of You, it also has a vegan and genderless formula. But it is priced comparatively higher than the Glossier You, it also lasts longer. 

Diptyque Fleur de Peau is another scent that comes very close to the Glossier You but is also priced slightly higher than it. It features notes of musk, iris, ambrette and pink peppercorn that results in a very peppery and powdery scent similar to the Top and Heart notes of Glossier, and the base is a warm and spicy tone different to You’s cosy and sweet one.

The Glossier Futuredew is a face serum and oil that serves as a quick fix to the skin when you don't have the time to perform a whole 7-step skincare routine. The blend of Jojoba, Grape Seed, Evening Primrose, and Rosehip Oils is a power pack that hydrates the skin thoroughly while plant extracts and squalene lock in the moisture and add brightness to the skin. The addition of minerals on top of that is what makes this one a whole package that gives the skin a long lasting (12 hours to be specific) glow. It’s also non comedogenic and vegan. 

Similar to this, the Milani Radiance Glow Dropper has a blend of squalene, hyaluronic acid, coconut water and electrolytes which serve the same purpose of hydrating the skin, locking in the moisture and giving the skin an even glow. 

Glossier’s flagship lip product, Ultralip is one of their oldest products. It features a highly nourishing formula of oils and 4HA, which is four different molecular weights of hyaluronic acids that all in all hydrate the lips, lock in moisture, and condition them. The best part is that this gives a tinted glossy finish while healing like a lip balm — all in one for which they have 11 shades too. 

The Innisfree dewy lip balm is something that has similar results according to us. It contains hyaluronic acid that nourishes and hydrates the skin, while the finish of the product is subtly tinted, glowy, and smooth. Although they have only 4 shades, the lip tint is long-lasting and perfect for those who are out all day. 

Compared to the ultra lip, you can also try the Pixi Hello Kitty lip tone that has a natural nourishing formula sans the hyaluronic acid. It also doesn’t have any shade variety as it is a pH-based tint that naturally enhances your lips’ natural colour, it is also a more affordable option. 

The milk jelly cleanser from Glossier is a nourishing formula that not only balances pH but also suits all skin types. It is non-comedogenic, vegan, and cruelty-free, and dermatologist-tested. The deeply conditioning formula with ingredients such as Pro-Vitamin B5 and Allantoin are the shining stars of this product which keeps the skin soft and supple. The jelly-like texture does not strip the skin of its natural oils, while the rose water makes it smell great. Because of such great qualities, this is their top-selling product currently. 

One of the closest dupes to this was the elf Bounce Back Jelly Cleanser which smells like coconut water instead of rose water and has a similar jelly-like texture that does not strip the skin of its natural oils. It has ingredients that give a similar result to that of Glossier such as sugar maple extract, aloe vera, cucumber fruit extract and vitamin B5. Although this is reviewed on their website to have a slightly more drying after-effect compared to that of Glossier, it was still loved as a good alternate option.
