Khara Kapas means 'pure cotton' in Hindi, and standing true to their name, all of their pieces are 100 per cent cotton. The brand was founded in 2015 and has grown many folds since then. Its motto is to impact the way we consume and dispose of apparel. Slow yet meaningful and less but better are the philosophies that the brand is built upon. Its global fashion sensibilities, deep-rooted love for fashion, and working consciously with artisans across India is truly a beautiful ode to fashion.
They make apparel for men, women, and kids, along with bags, jewellery, and other accessories that connote minimalism, sustainability, and conscious fashion choices. You'll predominately find relaxed silhouettes in pure fabrics adorned with earthy tones, Indian motifs and prints, and clean cuts.
From beautiful co-ord sets and flowy dresses to sarees, the brand offers some true heirloom pieces. Though it is not the most budget-friendly, the quality, design, and material speak for themselves. We highly recommend checking out their Sample section, where pieces are either the last of the lot or one of a kind. Styles that never made it to their collection but were designed with love are pretty and comparatively priced better.
