If there is one celebrity whose style we look out to and take inspiration from, it is Kiara Advani. Her style is effortless, and her vibe is fully model-off-duty. Her sartorial choices are classic and timeless; be it the red-carpet couture or her routine airport looks, her outfits are the perfect balance of comfort and edge. And while it is an easy look to nail for everything else, but we love how she achieves it with her ethnic outfits as well. Her lehenga looks are iconic and inspiring, whether you're a baraati or the bride yourself. Here are Kiara Advani's best lehenga looks to bookmark for some major style inspo.

Off-White Chikankari Lehenga

Kiara Advani's wedding looks were the talk of the town for months and we have to credit her trusted couturier friend Manish Malhotra for all the regal and elegant outfits that looked straight out of a fairytale. But one look that really stood out in terms of its delicate simplicity was the off-white chikankari lehenga worn by her for her mehendi. Take cues and pair a solid-coloured heavy dupatta with a neutral-colored lehenga for a not-so-overdone mehendi/haldi outfit.

Raspberry Pink Lehenga

Kiara wore this raspberry-hued Arpita Mehta design for her friend’s D-day. For bridesmaids putting together their wardrobes, this look’s a holy grail. The highlight of the look was the plunged neckline blouse with thin straps and an open back paired with the organza lehenga featuring breathtaking (and lightweight) embroidery with ahir, floral thread work and mirror hand embroidery in ivory. The old-school touch of the embroidery was contrasted with the sultry strappy blouse to keep the overall look traditional yet chic.

Bedazzled Red Lehenga

Ravishing in red, Kiara took the runway by storm for Amit Aggarwal’s FDCI opening show in 2019 in this red lehenga. There's nothing subtle about this look, each detail screams drama and panache in the movie-star kinda way. The red-on-red embroidery was jazzy enough to leave an impact and left us swooning. If you are a bride on the hunt for a cocktail outfit and are not shy about experimenting with risqué silhouettes, this look should be on top of your wedding lookbook.

Pastel Lehenga

Pastels can never go wrong, especially when it's candy-floss pink, and blue we are talking about. Kiara looked absolutely breathtaking in this intricately designed lehenga by Manish Malhotra with 3D embroidered peachy flowers and a cut-out blouse which brought some risqué factor to her otherwise delicate-as-a-flower look. Manish Malhotra lehengas are known for sultry blouses that boast the perfect fit and add some spice to ethnic outfits. One takeaway you should have after checking out this look is to invest in a similar well-fitted blouse (preferably in a neutral or metallic shade) that can be used with multiple outfits.

Black & White Lehenga

For brides or bridesmaids wanting to ditch the pinks and reds for the wedding season but falling short on inspo, here’s Kiara Advani looking absolutely stunning in a chevron print lehenga by couturier JJ Valaya. The statement tan belt adds more character to the chevron/shifting leaves-patterned skirt, both USPs of the House of Valaya. The gotta patti border with red piping adds some much-needed burst of colour. This look's a hit for colour-averse people like me who wanna wear traditional without ditching their love for neutrals.

Quirky Black Lehenga

Leave it to Kiara for paving a very modern chic aesthetic for ethnic fashion without being boring. This black Anamika Khanna lehenga is a breath of fresh air with a quirky contemporary look sans heavy embroidery or embellishment. The fuss-free lehenga stole my Gen-Z heart because of the pops of acid hues on the dupatta, designed phenomenally by pairing the white with the intricately embroidered floral work on the multicoloured borders. Kiara kills it yet again!

LFW Silver Lehenga

Kiara Advani, the true-blue Manish Malhotra muse walked the LFW ramp in this embellished silver lehenga as the showstopper. Leave it to Kiara to carry a heavily ornated lehenga and still float on the ramp gracefully, the silver bedazzled lehenga was designed with a butterfly-inspired backless blouse that complimented the diva's toned body well. This Manish Malhotra ensemble gives us all the feels with that one-shoulder cape that accentuates the outfit by giving it a queen-like trail on the back.

Half Lehenga

Papa Don’t Preach’s outfits are a whole different feeling and we genuinely mean that. The pastel candy colours, quirky embellishments, and puffy skirts, the outfits appeal to the child in me and leave me with major FOMO. When you enter the PDP by Shubhika lehenga territory, unique taste with impeccable detailing is something that follows closely. Thumbs up to the mini metallic bag that further adds to the playful vibes of the outfit.
