Milk Makeup is once again in the news for topping everyone's wish list with their newest launch. Milk's Cooling Water Jelly Tint has passed all trend tests to emerge as the it viral beauty product with its unique squishy jelly-like concept. Prior to that, it was their cream contour sticks, followed by the Hydro Grip Primer and those adorable cream blush sticks — essentially, half of their products are virality magnets and must-haves for any beauty enthusiast.

While we are all for buying whatever your heart desires, Milk Makeup doesn't currently sell in India, so we had no choice but to find dupes to keep our enthusiasm going. And as we are not ones to gatekeep, here is a list of products we believe are dupes for Milk Makeup's bestsellers.

Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek

Probably the most-loved Milk makeup product — the Lip + Cheek is a cream blush stick with a formula that's super creamy, lightweight and blends like butter. The colour pay-off is decent, it's neither too much nor too less and is perfect for layering in case you want to switch your no-makeup makeup look to strawberry girl glam real quick. It comes in both satin and slightly shimmery finishes, depending on the colour you are picking, but packs on a lot of glow to the skin because of the creamy formula.

We found a number of cheek products to have the similar effect. Starting with the e.l.f. Cosmetics Monochromatic Multi-Stick which is just a tad more shimmery than the Milk one. It's available in seven shades on Nykaa while Milk Makeup's has around eleven but we are sure you will find one you like. The shade 'Glimmering Guava' looks almost identical to Milk Lip + Cheek's 'Werk' on the skin; it may appear a little lighter in the packaging, but the post-application colour is very similar.

We are a little on the fence about our second pick — the Huda Beauty Cheeky Tint Blush Stick which is similar in terms of colour pay-off and shimmery effect but is slightly less creamier than the Milk baby (which is great if you have oily skin since the Milk Lip + Cheek doesn't stay on non-dry skin for long). The only ick we have from this one is that its more expensive than the Milk Lip + Cheek and the quantity (5 grams) is too less for INR 2,350. We would rather buy the e.l.f. one for less than one-third of its price and call it a day.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

Tik-Tok was losing it over the Milk Hydro Grip Primer when it had launched since it's a hydrating gel primer that's supposed to keep your makeup gripped to your face without feeling heavy. The Milk Makeup website claims that it helps makeup stay in place for up to twelve hours hydrating the skin with hyaluronic acid to prevent any makeup meltdown and caking situations. It is ideal for sensitive skin as well because it is 94% natural, vegan, clean, cruelty-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, oil-free, fragrance-free, and gluten-free; the list of its praises goes on and on.

The popular Tik-Tok dupe that took the internet by the storm is the e.l.f. Cosmetics Power Grip Primer. It perfectly moisturises, primes and smoothes the skin, making the makeup application super easy. Similar to the Milk Hydro Grip, this one too has hyaluronic acid to keep the skin hydrated to the T. Something to know about this primer is that the formula has great grip. It's even more stickier than the Hydro Grip Primer so consider it an adhesive for keeping your makeup glued all day long. It's even non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, vegan and cruelty-free.

Don't want something too sticky? Try the Makeup Revolution Relove Power Fix Primer instead! Ensures that the makeup stays on all day long. It also refreshes the skin and provides nourishment throughout the day. Has a weightless and long-lasting formula that ensures your makeup is in place for a long time. This primer too is vegan and cruelty-free, however, it does have fragrance added to it.

Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint

The star of the moment, the Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint is currently the most desirable beauty product on Instagram. Every person on the internet who has the slightest interest in blushes is currently obsessing on this cheek stain that looks like jelly. The most interesting bit of it is that its a water-based cheek and lip stain that has a unique squishy feel to it which replicates Jell-O. It comes in four colours to choose from, a red, a coral, a punky pink and a deep berry shade. And gives you the most natural-looking translucent flush of colour with minimum blending.

While there are no dupes that replicate the packaging and jelly bit of it (lowkey waiting for e.l.f. to be our saviours here) as of now, we did find two cheek tint products that more or less give you the same wash of colour on the skin.

Our first pick is the Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel which is a gel-textured blush that creates a natural looking and long lasting flush of stain on the cheeks. The gel formula feels super light on the skin and helps the pigment stay on all day long. Also, the aloe vera present in it gives oodles of moisturisation to the skin and the mica particles give that perfect amount of luminosity. This one comes in three colours but the 'Flushed' shade is our favourite.

Our second pick for that translucent wash of colour is Etude House's Dear Darling Water Gel Lip and Cheek Tint which is a trusty water tint that stains the cheeks with the perfect amount of pigment in bright colours and stays put all day long. Since the Milk Cooling Water Jelly Tint is also a water-based cheek stain, the end result of both of these products is the same — long-lasting translucent flush of colour that's non-sticky. This one too is available in three shades so we are sure you will find your match with ease.

Milk Makeup Matte Cream Bronzer Stick

An award-winning cream bronzer stick that builds and blends effortlessly to create sunkissed warmth with a natural-looking finish in seconds. The internet's obsessed with the Milk Makeup cream sticks, be it bronzer, blush or contour for how cute and convenient the packaging is, and how easy they are to blend. The bronzer sticks in particular are a joy to use since they blend like a dream and leave the perfect amount of colour in a single swipe. These layer like a breeze without looking patchy or harsh on the skin and simultaneously leave the skin looking juicy, thanks to the moisturising formula. In our experience, they aren't as matte as one would expect them to be, they have more of a satin finish but nonetheless, a great pick for all skin types.

We found the LA Girl Girl Velvet Contour Bronzer Sticks to have a similar velvety smooth formula that glides onto the skin without much effort. The blend is quite seamless too but you will have to blend the strokes as soon as possible because this one dries down a bit fast which might make the blending a little difficult. The only minus point of this one is that it's not available in many shades in India as of now.

Our second pick is the e.l.f Putty Bronzer. While it doesn't feature the propel stick packaging, the formula is pretty similar with its unique cream-to-powder effect that lays down similar to Milk Makeup's satin matte finish. This one too delivers highly pigmented, buildable colour for a natural sun-kissed glow. We honestly don't mind the pan packaging since you are in control of how much product you are picking on your brush or sponge.
