The weather in India has been too in its feels this year. We finally made it through the draining, soul-sucking, 'will to live' curbing heat but now, monsoon has entered the chat. The humid, sticky air not only affects our plans to step out but also plays a funny game with our hair.
It is said that humidity levels are inversely proportional to hair length. In simpler words, higher the humidity will be, it will rearrange the bonds inside each fibre causing hair to turn into a hot mess (aka frizzy and damaged). Additionally, the unbearable amount of moisture brought by the rain weakens the hair follicles and makes the scalp more prone to dandruff which further leads to increased hair fall. So basically, it fees like you and your hair against the world, battling it out with the treacherous rain which we're not fans of at all.
Now when the stakes are so high (because hello, it's your precious mane cum crown we are talking about), you better put in some effort and maybe pick up a few healthy hair habits to keep your hair game strong.
Here's a not-so-difficult guide with only three steps: Treat, Wash, and Nourish to keep them healthy in the monsoon madness that we and the Nykaa Army swear by.
