Worli Fort And Fishing Village

Okay, geography and history lovers, this is for you. South of Mahim Bay sits historical Bombay with the Britishers building a fort on Worli while the Portuguese built theirs on Bandra. Of course, there was no love lost between these two leering enemies but the construction of the NH8 changed that. Now, thousands of vehicles buzz by, catching glimpses of the Worli fort. Interestingly, the sea link does not land at Worli but rather goes around it, to protect the original inhabitants of Worli living in the Koliwada village. We may have spoiled the story for you but you must experience this for the beautiful scenic view of the fort, village and the Mumbai sky smiling at the sea. Catch the sunrise or sunset as the light lilts off the fort so beautifully.
