In recent years, we were introduced to a gazillion beauty trends which bombarded our Instagram feeds and kept us on our toes wondering what's next. Out of all the beauty trends, the nail game is always going strong with trendsetters like Hailey Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter giving back-to-back inspirations. The dark colours are taking centre stage, but we can see a lot of chromes and neutrals as well.

To make things easier for you, we have done a round-up of the ones that shouldn't be skipped. If you are looking for nail art inspiration and need help in making decisions, this list is all you need!

Glazed Donut Nails

The queen of trends (Hailey Bieber) introduced us to the concept of Glazed Donut-like glow for your skin, makeup and finally, nails! We have to say, the look of it actually made us bounce off the walls. It's shiny but not glittery, it has the bare nails base but your nails aren't actually bare, and they look absolutely insane when the light hits your nail art because of the chrome finish.

Cherry Mocha Nails

During the fall or winter season, it only makes sense that deep burgundy hues that replicate the colour of red wine become a thing. Timeless, sophisticated and attractive, these nails look forever evergreen and honestly, fall or not, would never go out of fashion since they suit almost everyone. Also, they have this certain old-money allure that catches everyone's eye.

Pro-Tip: Your Cheat Sheet On How To Nail Cherry Mocha Trend

Ballerina Slipper Nails

If Lady Gaga favours a nail trend, then you honestly can't second-guess the hype here. Ballerina slipper nails are every minimalist lover's dream because of the pale pink hue that almost replicates the natural shade of your nail bed. With quiet luxury being the norm of the year, it only makes sense that Ballerina slipper nails become the go-to nail art choice for the majority of people.

Aura Nails

Aura nail arts are inspired by auras, which are colourful energy fields that surround people like a halo. These nails feature a hazy ombre design that mimics these colourful halos, giving your nails the full OTT effect. While these look a bit 'in your face', we don't see them going out of trend anytime soon.

Fairy Dust Nails

Yet another nail trend minimalists and maximalists both would love will all their hearts is fairy dust nails. We snagged this one from Selena Gomez's manicurist Tom Bachik's page. Fairy dust nails give a clean-girl aesthetic a sparkly edge and there is a certain charm that is attached to it, which we really recommend not to pass up!

Coloured French Nails

This French nail trend has been in vogue for the past three years or so and might be here for some quite some time. Instead of going the classic route with the white tips, you can opt for coloured tips to switch it up. You can either keep the base colour the same as your nail's natural colour (which is exactly what we do with classic white French nails) or opt for a coloured base altogether if you are feeling extra.

Metallic Nails

Another chrome nail trend that has taken the internet by storm, thanks to Kim K. Since silver and metallic hues are back in fashion because of designers like Moncler, Paco Rabanne and Balenciaga, this nail art trend will be seen on celebrities for quite some time. Since these are quite heavy on the chrome, they do require high-maintenance or regular nail salon appointments, whatever you want to call it.

Swirl Nails

Swirl nail arts are super cute, eccentric and customisable, all the right things you would want from a manicure design. What we love about them is how each design is unique because of the swirls' placement, colours and base colour and never fail to look like a canvas with water colours! You can go as simple or as crazy as you want with this nail art idea so consider it suitable for everyone.

Art Deco Nails

Folks who are chasing uniqueness are totally invested in this nail art trend and one scroll of Instagram shows how innovative the designs are getting. Through this nail art trend, you can pretty much bring any design to life. From contrasting outlined tips to colour-block to even geometric, all the art enthu cutlets can unleash their imagination here!

Ombré Nails

Ombré nails have definitely become a crowd-favourite again. Previously, they used to be in super-loud colours like reds and greens, but now popular nail artists like Aistė Haas found a very elegant switch to this otherwise vibrant trend. The marble-like finish gives a glam touch, especially on rounder shapes!
