While the sun is busy burning up on the outside, inside your dimmed room with the AC on seems like the best place to be. All your love for the ‘outside’ and ‘going out' might subside considering the heatwave situation, but May is going to be exciting nonetheless thanks to the awesome lineup of TV shows and movies that are all set to release on OTT this month. Without wasting any more time, let’s begin unveiling your watchlist!

Heeramandi

Heeramandi

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's debut work on a TV series, Heeramandi has created quite the buzz both before and after its release. It's a signature Bhansali creation — the intermingling of an old-world charm, over the top sets and costumes, the beautiful play of light, and a flavourful sprinkling of Urdu poetry — everything blatantly making it look and feel like art. The series stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari in the main roles, and is set in pre-independence Lahore, in the houses of the elite courtesans.  Although some reviews say that it needs more story and drama but we'd watch it nonetheless.
