We all need someone who would tell us exactly what celebrities, influencers, tastemakers, founders, movers and shakers have in their little black book. So, we became that person, and we’re shining the spotlight on fashion designer, Rimple Narulah. If you have even the slightest fascination with Indian couture (or are a bride-to-be)— we are sure you already know about her, thanks to her stellar designer label, 'Rimple & Harpreet' that houses the most breathtaking Indian wear inspired from ancient crafts, artifacts and architecture. So, we caught up with her between designing fabulous outfits and vacationing to ask what things she keeps wanting more of, and here's what she had to say.

White Shirts From COS

Rimple says, 'I love oversized white shirts and I think I wear them so often that I have to keep restocking'. She shared that her current go-to brand for them is COS. Collection of Style (or COS) is a British fashion retailer that should definitely be on your if you are into simple, minimalistic silhouettes made with sustainably sourced fabrics. So, if you are into old-money or minimalist fashion, definitely check out their clothes on your next trip to the US or Europe.

Shoes From Loro Piana & YSL

The quintessential quiet luxury brand, Loro Piana's loafers are all over the internet and undeniably the it shoes because they are equal parts style and comfort. Rimple says, 'The comfort level with Italian shoes is always very high'. And for heels, she says, 'YSL Tributes are the most comfortable' and thanks to Rimple, we have a new pair of designer heels to crush on this year.

Rimple says, 'It has to be Delhi’s favourite, Khan Market. The vibe is always so good! Visiting the market post a busy day of work and seeing indigenous vendors is very relaxing for me'. Well, there's no Delhiite who hasn't visited Khan Market and fallen in love with the place's nonchalance yet bougie aura. Rimple says. 'I like the smell of oud and so my latest selection is the Jo Malone London Oud & Bergamot'. You can always trust JML to come up with the most amazing fragrances and this one is no less! It gets its alluring scent from the smoky character of oud as a base note along with cedarwood and bergamot at the middle and top. All in all, a worthy investment for those who enjoy wearing rich, intense and slightly mysterious fragrances.

Eyewear From Celine, Anna Karrin Karlsson and Linda Farrow

Rimple says, 'I have two or three favourite brands in eyewear. Celine is my absolute favourite because they just never go out of trend, and Anna Karrin Karlsson and Linda Farrow for exclusive eye wear'. Celine's eyewear pieces are worth every penny according to us because they are forever classic. On the other hand, Anna Karrin Karlsson is an eyewear couture brand that makes the world's most exclusive eyewear worn by a number of celebrities (like Beyoncé). Linda Farrow is another eyewear brand in the same league. Their recent collaboration with Jacquemus has been on our radar for the perfect cat-eye sunglasses.

Rimple's go-to cocktail is skinny margaritas. She says, 'Tequila and agave are my go to especially Casa Azul because the texture is so good'. English Breakfast Tea At The Oberoi Patisserie

We asked Rimple her favourite place for grabbing coffee or tea in the capital and she says, 'The Oberoi Patisserie because they serve some very good teas' and shared that her usual order is their English breakfast tea. The patisserie takes inspiration from charming European bistros and stylish Parisian cafes, and is just the perfect space for indulging in some me-time with a warm cup of tea, desserts and savoury treats. She also mentioned that her favourite restaurants in Delhi are Spice Route and Royal China.
