A Few Of Shruti Aggarwal's Favourite Things

As someone who loves the outdoors and practises yoga regularly, Shruti takes her activewear very seriously. It was no surprise then that she said her go-to brand was Uniqlo, but it was her recent find that was super interesting to us. She says, 'More recently, I bought leggings from Athlos and they have been my favourite. They are made from bamboo fabric, and are super soft!' Started in 2015, Athlos is a homegrown brand that uses bamboo fabric to create activewear pieces for both men and women with a focus on material that is durable, soft on the skin, and can be worn for long hours. 

One cursory glance at her Instagram and it becomes clear that Shruti loves her coffee, and goes looking for the best options. Her favourite brand currently is Bloom and she says, 'I like the medium dark roast from Bloom Coffee. I can’t have bitter coffee and I like this one because it feels really balanced and rounded.' 

As someone who has been running a successful thrift store for many years now, Shruti is a firm believer in buying pre-loved apparel, accessories, and more. And obviously has done her research and knows the best options available. Her go-to is, 'Pandapickedstore. I love her curation, she does it very tastefully. Definitely worth following. I love thrifting and I like a lot of thrift stores! It’s crazy to see how much variety you can find in terms of different styles.' 

We're always on the hunt for a good pair of sunglasses and we saw that Shruti had sported a really cool pair. 'A couple of years back, I bought sunglasses from Owndays and they are really good quality. They are very sturdy and they suit my face structure really well.' Owndays is an international brand that delivers globally and are also available in select stores. While her uber cool red pair are currently out of stock online, they have other great options to choose from.  

Shruti said that for special occasions she uses Chanel No. 5, but added that, 'On a daily basis, I prefer using pit pastes, something that does that job and I like the collection from Wild Ideas. I actually use a lot of stuff from Wild Ideas. It’s a great place to shop if you are looking for more natural products.' Started in 2014, Wild Ideas is a brand that specialises in chemical-free home and personal care products that they produce by engaging local women from a small village in Tamil Nadu, where they also set up their base.

Shruti loves experimenting with her hair, and says that her go-to brand for great options is Schwarzkopf. She says that, 'Even after using it for more than 5 years, thankfully I haven’t experienced any hair-fall, in fact my hair is soft and shiny.'  

Sakura, Shruti's Beagle, is easily the cutest furry friend ever. Shruti doesn't go anywhere without her and of course only gets her the best grooming products, as it should be. She says, 'I like Heads up for Tails for grooming supplies. The shampoos from Heads up for Tails are gentle on the skin and leave the coat nice and shiny.' 

When asked about her favourite accessory brand, Shruti said, 'As cliche as it may sound, but I love Theater. I love everything that we do and have. I love the jewellery, shoes and bags. It really is my favourite!' And we have to agree, Theatre's range of danglers are absolutely stunning.
