We recently got the chance to meet Siddartha Tytler, the new-age designer whose designs have always been a class apart and with his recent collection named 'Mehfil-e-Husn', he hit the ball out of the park. The designs were everything you would associate with 'husn' or beauty. A glimpse of the ethereal couture pieces transports you to exactly what Siddartha aimed for, a world of elegance and timeless regality that speaks volumes of the fineness yet empowerment a woman carries in her heart and soul. Moving on, we caught Siddartha backstage ahead of the preview, and he was game for letting us ask him about his favourite things and here's what we found!
A Few Of Designer Siddartha Tytler's Favourite Things
Favourite Piece From Mehfil-e-Husn
'Oh boy! it's like asking a parent who's their favourite child but if I had to choose, I am always partial towards my organza frill pieces, there's a whole series in the collection that you'll see. That's what touches my heart closest, the nicest actually.'
Homegrown Labels
Siddartha's known for his quirky and upbeat designs that have an unapologetic vibe of nonchalance and being at ease. Safe to say, he's not shy of experimenting with different moods, silhouettes and techniques to bring life to his designs. So, it was fun to find out about other homegrown fashion labels he likes that carry off the same vibes and functionality when it comes to clothing.
