Poetry in the Park - July Gathering

Come share your poem or poetry that moves you. Come learn about different forms of poetry. Come sit under a tree and listen. Poetry in the Park is a monthly gathering of poetry enthusiasts at Cubbon Park. The first hour of the gathering is dedicated to sharing our original poems or poems by others that move or inspire us. The event is open to poetry in all forms, languages and themes. The second hour of the gathering is where we explore forms/ eras/ themes in poetry. At the July gathering, we will be discussing the poetic form of 'Ghazals'.
