We have already raved here about the many art spots scattered across the city. If you’re run through that list before, there’s one more to add now. Adding some colour to the already buzzing 12th Main Road {in Indiranagar} is a giant mural that covers the facade of a three-storey building. Half-hidden by the trees surrounding it, look out for the vivid shades of orange, purple and teal that have completely transformed the space. The handiwork of Pune-based multidisciplinary artist, Harshvardhan Kadam aka Inkbrushnme {known for his street art}, the project is a part of the campaign, Art-to-Heart.
An initiative by the jewellery brand, LIFE {Love Is For Ever} to encourage the community to respect public spaces and appreciate art, the project that sprang to life hardly ten days ago, also involved a bunch of kids {right from three-year-olds, we hear} who participated in the final part of the painting. The works of the artist and the budding artists spills onto the pavement too, so don’t forget to look down. And if you can, then peek into the compound of the LIFE Studio for more of the bright colours and designs.
