What Is It?

The second edition of Bengaluru’s only comedy festival is just around the corner and we couldn't be happier! The Bengaluru Comedy Festival 2016 is all set to unfold this week, taking place across two venues in UB City over the course of five days. Bringing together over 50 Indian and international comedians, the event also includes workshops, panel discussions and live musicals.

Who Is It For?

Anyone who's up for a hearty laugh, whether it's to drive away the weekday blues or to liven up your weekend! After all, you have a bunch of comedians with a lineup that showcases their wit and skills, all to keep you in splits.

Why Should I Go For It?

Wondering who will be coming onstage to take you on a laughter ride? Look out for artistes like Kanan Gill {known for his Youtube series, Pretentious Movie Reviews} and the quirky Kenny Sebastian {who has performed 500 shows over the span of 5 years} along with Radhika Vaz {an improv expert and writer} and Anubav Pal who was called "India’s most intelligent comedian" by The New York Times.

Offering a little of everything from stand-up and improv, the lineup also has comedians like Abish Mathew, Naveen Richard, Nitin Mirani, Saad Khan and Varun Grover. Also, the initial couple of days feature workshops on standup comedy and improv, followed by panel discussions on topics like Women in Comedy. Plus, fan jams, live podcast, after parties and art installations. Get set for what might be the funniest five days of this year, folks!

Breathing, witnessing and listening to the spectacle unfolding all around. Writing, football and Alaskan malamutes are the few peculiar things that sum up my life.
