Wanna stock up on books to add to your never ending list of books to read? Here’s your chance to buy them by the kilo. Booksbyweight, a book store in Mumbai, is having a book fair at Basava Bhavan where you can buy books by the kilo. They have fiction, romance, cookery, history, health and children’s books in stock. We’re definitely marking our calendars for this and you should too!

Because a Kindle just doesn’t cut it, sometimes. Sure, you can download many of these books, but the feeling of flipping pages with your fingers is irreplaceable and the smell of books, let's not get started on that. The children’s books are at 200 pops a kilo and everything else at 100, so you can’t even argue about prices. We think it’s a good chance to do our part in reviving some good ol’ print, folks.

Price: INR 200 per kilo for all children’s books, INR 100 per kilo for everything else
