Candolim In Koramangala? A New Goan Restaurant Makes It Possible

Bringing a slice of Goa to the bustling neighbourhood of Koramangala, the recently-opened Candolim has seafood dishes and more.

Go Goa

Koramangala gets an all-new destination for Goan cuisine with the restaurant Candolim {with the tagline ‘Goa On A Plate’}, which opened barely three weeks ago. While you may not find a beach anywhere near the place, the shack-like decor might almost make up for it. Think bursts of colour on the seating, cushions and lights, and loud, cheerful music in the background.

Sticking to signature Goan specials, they have dishes like Crab Xacuti and Rava Fried Fish and even a seafood thali. The dishes here are apparently made with Goan spices brought in from the state. For a sweet fix, there’s Serradura, a Goan dessert which might even remind you of the Italian tiramisu. While they don’t have any tipple on offer yet, we’re hoping they’ll introduce it soon. That would just complete the {Goan} picture, we think.
