Throwing a party (or even a team get-together) at home but don’t want the hassle of cooking it all by yourself or even travelling to the other end of town in search of a good restaurant? No sweat. We suggest you try ChefSocial. Started around four months ago, the culinary startup brings together professional chefs to give you the perfect fine dining experience, right in your home. Founded by Akash Devaraju and Rachit Garg from Bangalore and Christina Marcus from Delhi (with Nisha, Vrinda and Raghav as partners), the platform also provides passionate chefs an opportunity to interact with the customers, unlike a restaurant setting. So, apart from socialising with your friends and enjoying a lovely meal (they also do brunches), you also get to learn more from the expert himself. Or, even try your hand at it! Pick from chefs specialised in varied cuisines like continental, Mughlai, Thai, Chinese, Italian or  even vegan food. Among the six chefs, they even have a chocolatier from Belgium!

All you need to do is book your preferred chef (on the website), fill in the details about the event (you need to book atleast 24-48 hours in advance) and someone from the team will get in touch with you. Specify your preferences and then, choose from the menus presented by the chef, or you can also customise it. And, on the day of the event, the chef will turn up at your door with the required ingredients to whip up the meal. What’s more, you will also get a detailed explanation of the menu. Join along and try your hand at some cooking while you bond with your friends, before you sit down for the delicious meal, of course.
