From pottery to jewellery making, Do Something, a hobby studio in Whitefield, has activities and workshops for kids as well as for their adults too.

Get Crafty

Having always been a creative person with a love for crafts, Marilyn George wanted to do something along those lines after she decided to quit her corporate job of 14 years. When she realised the lack of activity spaces for kids in Whitefield, she instantly knew how she could pursue her passion. Her ‘crafty’ venture, Do Something is a hobby-based studio with regular classes and workshops as well as summer camps for the little ones.

Introducing arts and crafts to adults as well as kids, the studio lets you walk right in and sign up for an activity of your choice. Think you’re really good at a certain art? You could even offer to share your expertise and skills by teaching here. Or if you’re an artiste without a studio space of your own, the folks at Do Something will happily let you work here.

Activities Galore

Apart from full-fledged workshops which happen regularly, they also have one-day classes. The pottery classes taken by Marilyn are a popular option, we hear, as are the jewellery making and dreamcatcher making sessions. Apart from other workshops like mosaic work, block printing and tie and dye, they keep adding new classes, too. From clay painting to scrap booking, your little ones also have enough to keep them busy here. But, what you must look out for are their activity-based camps for kids, happening during school breaks {think summer camps and Diwali camps}.
