What Makes It Awesome

Folks in and around the Sarjapur-Bellandur area, you've got a bistro in your neighbourhood and it's all things wonderful. The bistro is located inside Street 1522 and when you enter the space, you'll find the very European-themed facade of Soley—think minimal decor, sunny yellow finish, and gold accents. It's all very casual chic. Chef Viraf Patel of Salt Water Café, Table, and Neuma fame has put together a menu that offers diners a bit of everything good and comfort food.

We started off with Homemade Hummus with some of the softest pita bread we've had in a while. There's a Goan Chorizo Hummus too and honestly, we wondered where that's been all our life. There's only a without hummus Goan Chorizo that's served with potatoes and onions, which was all kinds of savoury yum. The Arugula & Apples Salad cut down all that fat and savoury with the chevre-walnut dressing. Oh the vegetarian front, our vote goes to the Roasted Baby Potatoes with Chimichurri Sauce that you'll order multiple rounds of. Turkish Eggs with freshly baked Simit bread are available at all times of the day including breakfast, so definitely get that. We did enquire if they sell the Simit bread for takeaway because we wanted to munch on a dozen of them.

We might have filled ourselves all on the bar bites and small plates, which is why we are going back to try their sandwiches, mains and bigger plates. We have our eye on the BLT with a baguette and honey chilli mayo and the Hungarian Lamb Goulash. Oh and since we do love ourselves some pasta, the Cacio E Pepe too.

Pro-Tip

You can also find vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, so really, go with the fam, that vegan friend or just about anybody and make it a good day.
