Lowdown On The Ambience

There is a lot of colour, mirrors, high stools and industrial style furniture going on at 330. There is a separate bar area where you can perch on stools, a mirror laden area for narcissists and selfie lovers, and bigger seating area to look out on the busy 80 Feet Road in Indiranagar.

What's On The Menu?

F & B ≤ 330 focuses on a small but global menu where they do cocktails and bar bites from all over the world. Under cocktails, you will find choices from Polynesian Tiki styles to good old desi cocktails. There’s plenty of gimmicky serve ware also going around. We found all cocktails way too sweet, but the Doodh Ka Dibba stood out, because it came with green tea, milk and rum, and was quite pleasant to drink from a mini milk can. The Mexican Chiquita came second in terms of fresh citrusy flavours.

Food Scenes

More than the cocktails, we’d say stick to beers here, because the bar bites are really good and they are a match made in heaven for beer. For non-drinkers, there is also the flavoured Ramune or good ol’ banta. TheF & B ≤ 330 folks have just decided to call it Ramune after the popular Japanese version. You can choose from flavours such as vanilla, raspberry, rosemary and more. We tried these and quite liked them. Coming back to the bar nibbles, we started with wasabi prawns, batter fried prawns served with a squish of wasabi mayo. The wasabi added a nice punch to the fried prawns. Next up was the barbecued chicken wings, which were standard but very good {Peri peri and Schezuwan are other options}. But if you are heading there with your squad, then do order the Meaty Cheesy Pot Roast Fries, which are basically French Fries topped with lots of cheese and chicken minced and then all baked together. The dish comes in a little pan on a stove for added drama.

We also tried the Asian Flatbread from the mains. You can pick from Beer Batter Fish & Chips, Thai Green Curry and sliders. The flatbread was rather good with bits of chicken, basil, lemongrass and chillies adding a nice Asian touch. We’d recommend this if you are looking to share something. The Chicken fajitas we ordered came with mushrooms, even though we had specified that one of us was allergic to it. So F & B ≤ 330, do keep in mind your guests’ request where food allergies are concerned.

So, We're Thinking...

There’s already a bar down the road, which might give 330 some competition. But the attractive pricing, especially for beer combos with fries or chilli chicken {who can say no to those} might be good to attract 330’s target audience — the broke but fabulous. Plus, the food is good too.
