Word on the street is that GMT (Gelateria Montecatini Terme) has a second outlet in the heart of the city. Originally based out of Pondicherry, the gelato parlour’s first outlet in Bangalore bowled us over with their boozy flavours like Irish Cream and Kingfisher. Even their fruit based flavours (we recommend the watermelon) taste refreshingly like creamy scoops of the fruit itself! The second outlet at Vittal Mallya Road is a lot smaller than the airy, well lit space at Indiranagar, but serves the same scoops of goodness. Unlike the Indiranagar outlet, they don’t serve any hot drinks, but we’re not complaining if it means we can have some authentic gelato after a fancy meal (or a long day) in this part of town!
