Spread over two floors now, Nature’s Basket offers a section to your left as you enter, which covers everything from organic beetroot and buckwheat pasta to chia seeds and artisanal cookies, and almond turrones, coated coffee beans and hazelnuts.
A little further down are familiar shelves of fresh herbs, rocket, lettuce, cherry tomatoes (all sourced locally) and frightfully expensive blueberries. On the other side is a hugely expanded section dealing with fresh fruits and veggies with some exotic and some desi ones. They also offer fresh dips, and pasta sauces from Chef’s Basket too. Plus, cold-pressed juices, cold coffees, and more. As you walk down, don’t forget to stop by at the cold cuts and meat counters. We love their smoked chicken and artisanal ham. The processed refrigerated section offers everything from fish popcorn to frozen steaks and processed cheese to frozen veggies. Biscuits, tea, coffee, and all kinds of snacks can be found on this floor too.
Head over upstairs to admire rows and rows of make-your-own-dessert boxes, pricey bottled water and a section for all your baking needs and Asian noodles. We also found some freshly-made ravioli with exciting fillings such as spinach and ravioli, sun-dried tomato and cheese, chicken and capsicum. Just boil and use. We’ll probably need to make several trips before we can fully comprehend the inventory of the store. One trip is not enough to get a feel of everything, though we did feel like buying everything.
