Ten-second takeaway

Get set for a flea market with a whole lot of music, food, workshops and more at this year's first Kitsch Mandi.

Shop till you drop

With a new edition of Kitsch Mandi to brighten our weekend, this year seems to be starting off on a really good note. And they sure are taking things to a whole new level of fun this time around. Created using recycled material, the decor at the bazaar is something you should definitely look out for. While there, make sure you head to Woodgeekstore's stall to stock up on bamboo wood sunglasses, phone covers and even engraved bamboo notebooks. Savita Iyer's UrbanKala might just bowl you over with her range of hand-painted jute and canvas bags, jewellery {think stylish hand-wired earrings, necklaces and bracelets}, murals, key holders and trays. The collection of quirky keychains from Graphicurry's art store and classy leather goodies from Clovve also find a place at the bazaar.

What more?

If shopping's not your thing, don't worry. Sign up for one of the workshops at the bazaar, which include everything from zero waste lifestyle to gardening. Or feast on the yummy grub on offer - Gobble Me Up's flavoured churros {white chocolate, dark chocolate, hazelnut, peanut butter and more} and eggy treats from Around the World in 80 Eggs {tortillas, egg bhurji and masala omelettes} are worthy a try, we think. If that's not enough, things are bound to get spirited with live electronica music to pump you up. Thanks to the lineup featuring Fuzzy Logic {from Mumbai} and Bangalore-based bands, The Burning Deck and Oceantied.
