Lowdown On The Ambience

Vintage on the outside, with the Hard Rock Aesthetic on the inside, the Banglore edition's walls are, of course, adorned with legendary memorabilia. As we sat next to a blazer once donned by John Lennon, we could only imagine the stories behind them. We also loved the outdoor space and were able to soak in the 100-year-old structure as we sat sipping our drinks.

What’s On The Menu?

Kiwi Mojito

The Red Rod fries proved just the perfect nibble to begin with. Tossed in dry spice rub, spring onions, jalapeños, sweet chilli, the finger chips are served with plenty of Cheddar cheese sauce and a mild smokey salsa. When done right, even something as simple as Fish and Chips can hold it's own in a menu full of twists and turns. The golden fish fillets melt in your mouth and are aided by the excellent tartar sauce.

Up next was the Crunchy Veg Submarine {our favourite} with its crispy, spiced tandoori veg croquettes, lettuce, Cheddar cheese sauce and tangy salsa served with seasoned fries. We hope this stays on their menu permanently. From the first bite into the Mr. Fantasy Burger we were convinced of its legendary status. Bolstered by a juicy beef patty at the core, the humongous burger is bursting with different flavours and textures. While the bacon and fried onion rings add a bit of crunch, the patty itself is rather tender.

Drinks Ahoy

We couldn't stop raving about the Kiwi Mojito. The Green Kiwi and Bacardi Carter Blanca rum go so well together, they should be BFFs. If you're looking for something with a kick to it, the Puerto Rican fits the bill perfectly. It's got a strong blend of Bacardi Blanco Dark and Golden rums, in pineapple and orange juice with a splash of Angostura bitters. Go easy on this one.

So, We’re Thinking…

The more-than-generous portions mean that the experience is best shared with a couple of pals with big appetites. There's lots of activities to indulge in as well, with quizzes, give-aways, theme nights, tribute nights, live acts and a bunch of other cool stuff.
