Welcome Winter with Mamagoto's New Seasonal Menu

Big meals-in-a-bowl, wholesome dumplings and exotic cocktails are all part of Pan Asian restaurant Mamagoto’s new seasonal menu this winter.

Bowl-Full-Of-Joy

Taking the classic concept of meals served up in bowls, Mamagoto has introduced a bunch of wholesome dishes to its new menu. Take your pick from Mama Katsu-DON {see featured image}, a working-man’s meal served in a bowl with mirin, sake, soya, and smoky onion sauce poured over sticky rice and topped with panko-crusted fried chicken or aubergine, or the Osaka Tube Station Bowl {inspired by ramen bowls available across tube stations in Tokyo and Osaka}, noodles dunked in a mushroom-flavoured broth topped with a marinated boiled egg, chicken, tofu or salmon. The Mama’s Spicy Ramen Bowl {minced chicken or veggies cooked in a spicy broth, and served with buttered corn kernels and blanched spinach} is another option.

Three new kinds of dumplings have also been introduced to the menu. They include: Mixed Mushroom infused with sesame oil and served with fresh chilli and a vinegar dressing, Minced Chicken and Preserved Beancurd stuffed dumplings, and Nori or seaweed-filled dumplings with chilli and soy dressing

Bar attractions

From the Mama Bar, say hello to not one or two but three new cocktails. The Basil Salted Mary is a vodka, tomato juice, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce concoction perked up with basil-infused salt, the Rum Diaries {see featured image} is a white and dark rum cocktail shaken with orange juice, lime and pomegranate essence, and served with grilled orange slices. And the classic red wine sangria gets a chilled twist with citrus-flavoured pop rock {golas for us desis} dunked in it.
