What Makes It Awesome

Mark Meenakshi Electricals in Thippasandra for all your functional lighting needs, but more so for chic and eccentric stuff. The first thing you’ll notice when you enter the store is all the usual generic lighting that you’d find at any run-of-the-mill light store. Therefore, if you’re looking for something quirky, head straight to the inner section of the store and prepare yourself for some serious lighting exploration. Fall in love with their vintage streetlight style lamps that looked like they were straight out of a 1950s movie set in London. They even have the more 1800s inspired wooden candle chandeliers with electric bulbs instead of the candles – like the one at the Adams Family dinner table. Amongst plenty of regular ceiling and wall lights, we also spotted some really unique and minimalist designs that would blend seamlessly into a modern home.

LED lights in white concentric circles, tubular translucent wall lights, and geometric mount lights are just some of the things that caught our attention. If you fancy something more elaborate, they also have beautiful crystal ballroom chandeliers and more minimal pendant chandeliers. Even though it looks like an average lighting store from the outside, Meenakshi Electricals has some pretty great designs and unique finds, with very courteous sales staff who’ll help you out with anything you need. The lights here start at INR 695.
