Delhi-based Nappa Dori has opened its doors to Namma Bengaluru with well-designed leather merch. From overnighters and belts to chic notebooks and trunks, it’s heaven for all things leather!

The Promised Land

Our long-distance love affair with Nappa Dori has finally blossomed into something we can hold, touch and smell {if you’re feeling extra creepy}, bringing us old world luxury leather goods to obsess over. With dark wooden floors, low-hanging industrial lamps and their logo boldly embossed above the billing counter, this Delhi-based studio has carved a niche for itself amongst design connoisseurs with its simple but stunning leather goods.

Bagging For More

Carob, tan, hickory, umber — the store carries shades of leather you couldn’t even begin to imagine, with the occasional pop of deep burgundy, teal and navy. Although they don’t carry their full online selection in-store, you’ll still find all the essentials {minimalist trunks, bags, stationary, laptop cases}, as well as the not-so-essential-but-still-drool-worthy goods, like their customisable DIY leather belt kit, geometric teardrop holders {potential terrarium, maybe?}, and quirky macaroon-shaped measuring tapes.

Their products bring new life to leather goods by introducing intrinsically Indian touches of design, like their ikat print notebooks and leather overnighter printed canvas bags. Of all their goodies, we were most excited to get our hands on Carpenter Bag I, which we’ve been admiring from afar, and felt so good to finally hold.
