Oh, so you just about made it out of the pub last night? Next time, just lurk around and wait for the sun to come up so you can just go right back in for a serious breakfast. And we’re not talking just a measly toast with butter, or an idli-vada combo, we’re talking about all-out fry ups, bacon dosas and pancakes with sausages. This is why you party all night… to eat brekkie at the same place the next day.

Social

From breakfast trays to Saddlebags (pancakes with bacon, sausages, maple syrup and eggs) Social is a fine option to hit up if you want pub vibes to kick off the day. And since they have alcohol on offer all day, pair that Bun Omelette with the Longest Long Island Iced Tea or even the Acharoska which comes with mint, pickle and vodka. Don’t blame us if you’re still hanging around when the sun is setting. But worry not, we’ll join you.

The Permit Room

Want to put one solid beer or cocktail with Mini Dosa Rolls {with Black Forest ham or Gruyere Cheese Palya}, go off to The Permit Room da. Yup, old-Bangalore is what we’re talking, and that is what you get, but with a modern spin on it. Starting at noon to 9pm on weekdays, but at 9am on Sundays, load up on Bisi Bele Bath with gratinated crumbs and Parmesan or perhaps Brioche Toasties with their signature cocktails. Our pick from the bar? Fizzy Kosambari if you want to start with gin, or Chutney Mary if you’ll do vodka in the morning. From the classics, Mojitos, Pina Coladas and Sangria should do the trick. Go, take tiffin.

Watson's JP Nagar

No need to hide behind the building because you only exited at 1am on Saturday. It’s fine. You can now officially waltz into this pub at 9am on Sunday and start piling on the carbs. The menu is a mixed one and includes your Indian favourites like egg bhurji and pav as well as pancakes, pancakes and sausages. If you want to begin drinking early, then they also have unlimited beer or Sangria for INR 699.

Bootlegger

Both the Indiranagar and Lavelle Road outlets have a lovely breakfast menu which even lets you be healthy! The Healthy Mornings platter has fruit, cereal and porridge to be had with coffee, tea or fresh juice. But if you don’t mind the good old fry up, pick the English Breakfast that’ll sort you out with mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, sausages, bacon, toast and eggs to order. Plus, tea, coffee or beverages. Pancakes, waffles, French toast and choice of eggs are also available here. Wash it down with Bee’s Knees or Tom Collins, both gin-based cocktails.

Pecos Stones

There’s only two ways it can go if you choose to break fast here. The first option is to load up on South Indian food in the form of stew with appam. You can pick the chicken or vegetarian option, with a beer to go naturally. Or, have the English Breakfast which come with bacon, sausages, eggs, mashed potato and three (yup, specifically) slices of toast. And it’s all day, so worry not if you wake up well after the sun rises.

The Reservoire

Maybe their parties got too lit the night before, but The Reservoire will make up with their range of breakfast options. Load up on their Continental spread (non-vegetarians, you're in luck with their super meaty options). It's a buffet, so load up as much as you need. Of course you can order a-la-carte, if, you know, your stomach hasn't quite recovered. And if you're a late riser, worry not, the breakfast spread is available all day!
