What's Happening

With an increasing awareness in sustainability and how much fast fashion is contributing to pollution, Rang Malang’s workshop on natural dyeing should pique your interest. Happening at the zero-waste studio, the five hour crash-course will run through the basics of dyeing. The course will cover how to prepare fabric for dyeing, getting maximum coverage on your fabric, colour mixing and modification, ensuring colour fastness (and preparing it to be wash-friendly), and after care methods. What’s cool is that you’ll also learn how to source, make and appropriately use natural dyes - made using ingredients like Sappan (wood), Catechu (fruit), henna, marigold flowers, onion and even pomegranate peels! Yes, you get to take your creations (and around 16 shade cards made of the dyes you make) home.

How's The Venue
