What Is It?

Is a lazy Sunday brunch your best plan for the weekend? Well, Gathr {city-based startup that focuses on creating alternative social experiences} is hoping to change that up with their Silent Reading/Silent Dance Party {you'll wear earphone, smartypants!}. True to the name, this is where you can sit back with that book you've been longing to complete, or dance the day away to hip hop and disco beats. Or, do a bit of both, perhaps? Along with an outdoor space with plenty of greenery, comfy chairs, and a spacious dance floor, they even have some grub to add to the mix. Sunday plans, sorted?

Who Is It For?

The daylong event is just as much for those who love curling up with a book as it is for someone who enjoys taking over the dance floor. Want to just laze around and, maybe, meet some like-minded folks over a cuppa? Come along, y'all!

Why Should I Go For It?

Make sure you take along a book and a pair of headphones, because they're going to tune in to a private radio station playing just the kind of tracks to go with your activity. Expect a blend of classical, jazz and down tempo to set the mood for the bookworms, while dance enthusiasts can groove to everything from Afro beats and hip hop to funk and disco. Known to dish out healthy food, the city-based startup, Bhukkad has a special barbecue lunch on offer, along with wholesome salads, fresh juice, coffee and dessert. We're sold!
