Kaapi Katte is a very famous place for breakfast. It can be easily traced in the main market of RR Nagar. The place is very hygienic and their employees keep the place clean all the time. (Kudos to them!)
The food is simply awesome. Dosas are crispy and the filling is tasty with minimal masalas and thus making it light. Idlis are soft, and vadas are crunchy, which makes it an amazing combination. Khara bath and kesari bath are also nice. They serve only green chutney and no sambhar.
I personally love their coffee. The coffee and tea section are outside which gives you a chance to enjoy it in the lovely Bangalore weather. You can always find a huge crowd in the coffee section.
The best part of this place is that it is super affordable. Dosas are just 20 rupees. And all the other items are priced in same way as well.
They only accept cash, so make sure you stop by the ATM to swipe some cash.
