What Makes It Awesome

Looking for a place to have Chai in the night?

Your worries are sorted as Tata Cha is open till about 11 in the night.
I had a great experience at the cafe and there's a lot to talk about it.

1. Chai is available till almost midnight
2. They have a variety of dishes on the menu which include different Indian cultures in it
3. Feels homely and comfortable with great interiors
4. There are certain bakery items/snacks that are available and remind you of your childhood days
5. It's a place not only for Chai but much more.

Let's start with the food:

Ranging from Chakri Samosa, to Banana Kababs, to Khichdi and a Sindhi Favourite dish - Dal Pakwan.
And me being a Sindhi, my obvious favourite was the Dal Pakwan. Now, Dal Pakwan is actually chana dal served with Pakwan which is a crispy fried Indian bread. You're sure to love the combination of crispy fried Indian bread with dal.
Certainly a must try are there aren't many places in Bangalore that offer you Dal Pakwan.

Drinks:

I was surprised as I thought this was a place for tea lovers, however it turns out the place doesn't just serve you tea purposes but also drinks ranging from Tangy Tamarind, Mixed Berry, Meetha Paan, Chilli Guava, Peach Ice tea and much more.
My favourite among the drinks section was definitely the Mixed Berry and the Meetha Paan. The Mixed Berry is a yogurt based drink and the Meetha Paan is a milk based drink. I was really satisfied by how thick the Mixed Berry shake was and the flavours were well retained with every sip.

Chai:

Well as we're all here for the Chai, let's get to it. I was really really happy with the Chai presentation, the taste of the Chai and the experience of having it at Cha. I had a great time visiting the place early in the morning for Chai and in the late night before I went home. You have to visit the place to experience the Chai.

Interiors and experience:

I was able to see that there has been a lot of effort put on the interiors and not to forget the smallest corner at Cha. This is great because the place now looks extremely beautiful with surroundings that tend to remind you of your childhood days. Also not to forget the Bun Maskafied, which again is something that reminds you of your childhood where you always went to one of the bakery uncles and asked them for a tutti fruity bun which has a sugar coating in it.

Really happy that a place like Indiranagar has something that is more affordable for all of us.

What's My Pro Tip?

Must try:

1. Dal Pakwan
2. Mixed Berry Shake
3. Chai
