This one on New BEL Road is an old Bangalore favourite. Ruling the roost when it came to sportswear and equipment well before the fancy brands came in, you’ll only find functional stuff here. Simple cuts, basic colours {possibly just black, blue and perhaps a few reds and purples} and one-piece swimming costumes for women, and shorts and trunks for men. But that said, you can’t go wrong with this can you?

Well known to all old Bangaloreans, Rakhra will sort you out for any sport — from hockey to shot putt. So swimming is obviously one of them. You won’t get any fancy stuff here, but if you’re looking for quality on a budget, this is where to head to.
