What's Happening

Atta Galatta is back with the 4th edition of Bangalore Poetry Festival happening from July 20 to July 21 at Taj West End. This two-day festival will showcase poets across all regional languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Punjabi, and English as well along with performances by renowned lyricists, poets, singers and musicians. Gear yourself for two days of the poetry roller coaster with workshops lined up for adults and kids.

This year the festival will bring to you MC Sher of Gully Boy aka Siddarth Chaturvedi and enlightening sessions with Sadhguru. You will learn the basics of poetry writing, the art of appreciating poetry, nuances of Hindi poetry and how poetry invokes visual and auditory prompts depending on the workshop you'd register for. Children can be a part of the poetry workshop conducted by the famous children's poet Anushka Ravishankar. You will stand a chance for a tete-a-tete with famous poets such as Huma Mirza, Hoshang Merchant, Sourav Roy, and T M Krishna among others.

Taj West End, located at Race Course Road, Gandhinagar, is a heritage hotel set amidst tropical forests. It is ideal for events, big fat Indian weddings or just a staycation.
